Time travelers from the 1890's, or Maker Faire 2015?
Shannon O’Hare, aka Major Catastrophe, is our fearless leader and creator of the Neverwas Haul Mobile Art Installation. A natural artist and craftsman, Shannon’s experience as a theatrical prop maker and set designer, and sense of improvisation, inspires our crew.
Kathy O’Hare, aka Lady Impetuous, is the chief cat-herder (both feline and human). Aside from managing operations, scheduling and logistics, Kathy also makes sure the crew has everything they need, including kraft service and kitten cuddle time.
Samuel Coniglio, aka Dr. Professor Samuel Tweed, and Katherine Becvar, aka Katherine the Great are adventurers. Samuel is an avid photographer, bartender and amateur tinkerer. Katherine is the Librarian of the Neverwas Haul. She is also a great organizer and maker of functional Steampunk accessories like pocket belts and light up bustles, as Blue Moon Designs.
Known as the “Unexploded Scotsman,” Victor is an expert mechanic and fabricator. His thoroughness of detail has improved the quality of many projects. Lady Wenonah is a known for her bold red tartan as the Lady of Scotts.
Helena and Marty Kulmus are the chief audio wizards for events at Obtainium Works., as well as regular helpers on shop days. This power couple are essential for community events. A musician himself, Marty is the sound-master for multiple music venues, including Lucca Bar & Grill in Benicia.
Jaime Chavez is a science professor at SF State, Galapagos Academic Institute for the Arts and Sciences and Universidad San Francisco de Quito, as well as a maker. Jaime has rebuilt of our favorite robot, Recycletron, he’s is the RC driver and the voice of the only robot with an Ecuadorian accent.
Kevin O'Hare is the middle brother of the O'Hare clan. A fabulous artist who knows how to make exquisite Victorian contraptions . He‘s a talented Pewter artist with Fellowship Foundry. He and his bride vend Kevin’s pewter goblets and accessories, as well as Victorian garment making supplies at Renaissance, Steampunk and Dicken’s events as The Farthingale.

Oliver Lowe and Deborah Sciales are Hibernian fashion consultants. They are artists and longtime Burners who help with all sorts of tasks at Obtainium Works. Deborah is the driver of our mobile Tea Pot at events, and makes exquisite Steampunk wear as Dash and Bag.
Mayor Bob and Ramona Sampayan are regular helpers on shop days and events at Obtainium Works. Now retired, Bob was the first and only Steampunk Mayor of Vallejo.
Joe Phillips, aka Professor Horatio Birdbath, is chief driver of the Neverwas Haul. A mix of machinist and handyman, Joe has helped on almost every major project at Obtainium Works. He also makes great cocktails.
Beth spends her days teaching High School Robotics. She is fluent in woodworking and mechanical things. Her mate Cris is a rough and ready sailor who has traveled the Seven Seas, and is usually at the shop when on land.
Trevor and Karen are accomplished story writers for the theatre, who organize events and plays in and around Obtainium Works. Trevor is a published author, playwright, actor and voice actor.
Eli Meyer & Judi Morales Meyer are mountain-hippy makers focused on sustainability. Eli works in energy-saving and tinkers with RC vehicles. He works with Shannon O’Hare, colorizing & digitizing illustrations, and collaborated on Robots Rumble. Judi does event planning and teaches upcycled sewing at Truckee Roundhouse Makerspace, manages the Obtainium event Vendors and Website. The couple travels from their secret lab, deep in caves of North Lake Tahoe, to Vallejo (Judi’s hometown) to crew at major events.. Cinder Garden Designs
“Dr." Josh Hitchcock is the Obtainium bartender and curer of what ails ya. Master of gaffer tape. Spiritual advisor for the Cthulhu mythos.
Lady Ofebia is a local theatre actress, well known for Shakespeare performances and her drivable Skirt in the Mad Hatter Parade. Ofeibia often lends a hand at events and live performances.
Scott “Sparky” Bartlett is an artist, fabricator and an expert in electronics. He was an essential member of the Robot Rumble team, working his magic with in the latest Remote-control technology.
Judy Pischalnikoff is a multi-talented artist, performer and seamstress, known as the White Rabbit at the Obtainium Cup.. A wizard at costuming, you never know who she will be dressed as next! Judy is our liaison with the Sacramento Steampunk Society who participates in events.
